UNWINDING & rewinding
The unwinding process is a system for slitting adhesive rolls through unwinding and rewinding.
Unwinding involves converting large adhesive reels, known as “jumbos”, into smaller rolls, known as “logs,” which are then cut into individual rolls.
This process allows us to offer you custom cuts with a core (the cardboard center) featuring your branding.
SLITTING OR CUTTING
Slitting is a process that involves cutting a large roll of adhesive material into narrower rolls or strips. This is done by passing the material through a set of blades or knives that cut it precisely to the desired widths.
Depending on the material, a range of widths is possible, from 1.5 mm up to 1,600 mm.
Our slitting process is compatible with a wide variety of materials.
ROTARY DIE-CUTTING OF ADHESIVE TAPE OR FILM
Rotary die-cutting is a technique that uses a cylindrical cutting tool (die) to cut adhesive tape or film into discs of specific shapes and dimensions.
The rotary die enables high production rates because it rotates at high speed. It is well-suited for large production runs, delivering high precision for custom, high-quality parts.
FLAT DIE-CUTTING OF ADHESIVE PARTS
Flat die-cutting is a hydraulically operated tool that uses a steel ruler to “click-cut” or punch out parts by driving the die downward through the material.
This technique uses a flat die, suitable for thicker materials, and allows for the production of custom, ready-to-use adhesive pads in small and medium sizes.
LASER DIE-CUTTING OF ADHESIVE MATERIALS
Laser die-cutting is a process that uses a powerful, focused laser beam to precisely cut, engrave, or perforate adhesive materials.
This innovative technology offers several significant advantages, most notably precise and clean cuts.
This process is therefore the preferred choice for cutting more complex materials with very tight tolerances.
LAMINATION, ADHESIVE BONDING, OR COMPLEXING
Lamination, also known as adhesive bonding or complexing, is a sophisticated process that combines several different materials to create a single product with the combined benefits of those materials.
This process enables the production of adhesives in the form of custom-cut sheets or rolls, on various substrates according to your specific requirements: sheet-to-sheet lamination, roll-to-roll lamination, continuous adhesive bonding, and direct-recoil roll production.
