Our History:
A Century of Expertise
1910
Located in the Eure department in Normandy, RUBANS DE NORMANDIE was founded to manufacture technical fabrics using time-honored expertise—trimmings, the production of all types of yarn, and, specifically, medical textiles for treating wounds during the war.
1968
The business shifted to the trade and distribution of adhesive tapes, with the opening of its first Paris location. Over the years, several RUBANS DE NORMANDIE retail stores opened one after another in the heart of Paris, offering an expanding product line.
2000
A turning point came with the launch of our custom processing and cutting services for technical adhesive tapes. We invested in a fleet of cutting machines.
Initially based in Ivry-sur-Seine (94), our production facilities were modernized, and we moved to a new production site in Chelles (77) from 2009 to 2018.
2007
As part of our expansion, two new entities—RUBANS DE BRETAGNE and RUBANORD—were established in France to strengthen our local presence in western and northern France.
2018
In light of our growth, we are building our new production and logistics facility in Serris, in the Val d’Europe area (77), a rapidly developing economic region.
This modern facility provides us with 4,000 m2 of space, including 3,200 m2 dedicated to processing and storage.
2020
Our nationwide coverage continues with the opening of the RUBANS DU SUD OUEST location, located near Toulouse.
2024
In December, EXPÉRIENCE INDUSTRIES, a company based in Ceyzériat in the Ain department (01), near Bourg-en-Bresse, and recognized for 25 years as an adhesive processor, joined the RUBANS Group.
