PRECISION TOOLS
Rotary die-cutting relies on the use of solid-carved cylindrical tools, offering high precision and shape repeatability. This process is distinguished by its ability to process complex assemblies of adhesive tapes and their backing materials at speeds of up to 55 meters per minute, in continuous operation.
For finer cuts, we also offer solutions that integrate flat-bed cutting on precision presses, using a punch/die tool integrated into the continuous tape cutting and laminating process. This advanced technology ensures high-precision micro-perforations combined with a continuous process.

DESIGN AND MANUFACTURE OF OUR ROTARY PRODUCTION MACHINES
Manufactured and designed in-house by the RUBANS Group, their development—based on many years of observation—has allowed us to take into account the full scope of production contexts and requirements.
This expertise allows us to gain greater autonomy in the face of supply chain pressures and to optimize our responsiveness. This expertise applies to a portion of our rotary press fleet.
INTERNAL OR EXTERNAL MAINTENANCE OF THE INSTRUMENT FLEET
The reliability of our instrument fleet is ensured through periodic operations—preventive maintenance, calibration, verification, and monitoring—aimed at minimizing failures and controlling measurement deviations. Our industrial know-how enables us to perform a wide range of operations.
The purpose of the metrology function is to ensure the reliability of the production process and thereby guarantee product quality.
It is therefore necessary to manage the measuring instruments used at our production sites and ensure their fitness for use through calibration and/or verification procedures.

Our two industrial sites allow us to optimize production flows and distribute technical expertise, ensuring a tailored response to all types of requests, from standard orders to the most specialized solutions.
RUBANS DE NORMANDIE, ÎLE-DE-FRANCE (SERRIS, SEINE-ET-MARNE)
Located in the heart of Val d’Europe, our 1,000 m² manufacturing facility is equipped with modern production tools:
- Precision unwinding and cutting machines, laminators for custom product fabrication, and state-of-the-art rotary presses enabling innovative, high-capacity cutting
- A machine fleet of over 20 industrial units
- Precision tools for customized solutions: over 400 engraved dies and approximately 200 production plates ready for installation on the rotary presses
- Storage capacity with a 2,300 m² warehouse: over 3,000 SKUs available in permanent stock, covering a wide range of technical adhesive tapes
- Strategic location : Close to major logistics routes for fast delivery throughout France and Europe.
