A range of eco-friendly products
Our partner tesa® is constantly innovating to develop and produce more sustainable adhesives tapes.
To highlight these initiatives, a “sustainability” label—depicting a “green adhesive band wrapped around the Earth”—is featured on the most sustainable products that meet one or more of the following criteria :
- Use of bio-based materials
Reserved for products that contain at least 50% bio-based materials in one component and 30% in the product as a whole. In addition, all fiber-based materials must come from certified sources such as FSC®. - Use of Recycled Materials
At least one component of the product—the backing, adhesive, or liner—must consist of at least 50% recycled materials, and the total proportion in the product must be at least 30%. However, all mass-balance (bio) materials must be certified by ISCC Plus or an equivalent certification system. - Use of mass-balanced materials
If the content of a mass-balanced (bio) material exceeds 50% for a single product component (backing, adhesive, or liner) and accounts for at least 30% of the entire product, then it is eligible for the label. - Recyclability
Products must be certified as recyclable or designed for recycling in accordance with certifications such as INGEDE Method 12 or the PTS-RH 021:2012 standard.

The tesa® 4965 Original adhesive tape has been the industry standard for over 40 years thanks to its high-performance adhesive and patented technology. Versatile and durable, it guarantees reliable adhesion even on challenging surfaces.
With the new tesa® 4965 Original Next Gen, featuring a transparent PET backing and a tackified acrylic adhesive, the range is evolving toward a more sustainable solution thanks to its biomass balance and a backing made from 90% post-consumer recycled (PCR) PET, thereby reducing carbon emissions by 40%.

Gamme tesa® TESA® ECT LINE
Electrically conductive adhesives—or ECT (Electrically Conductive Tapes)—are technical tapes that combine mechanical adhesion and electrical conductivity.
These are electrically conductive tapes.
They consist of a pressure-sensitive, conductive acrylic adhesive and various conductive backing materials (woven, nonwoven, copper, aluminum, foam) that ensure reliable electrical continuity between two surfaces while providing a secure bond.
