The Customer Technical Center located in Cergy-Pontoise (Val d’Oise) is an innovation center with 550 employees. The teams from the RUBANS Group have been hosted there several times for training sessions. 3M™ VHB™ LINE
3M™ VHB™ (Very High Bond) adhesive tapes—which have been on the market for 40 years—are among our flagship adhesives due to their exceptional performance in permanent bonding.
3M™ VHB™ adhesives provide a durable and secure bond, ideal for the most demanding industrial, architectural, and technical environments.
These high-strength acrylic foam double-sided adhesive tapes quickly and easily create a durable bond that strengthens over time, ensuring a reliable, clean, and aesthetically pleasing attachment.
Thanks to their ability to bond a wide variety of materials—including aluminum, steel, glass, plastic, and painted or lacquered surfaces—they provide flexible bonding solutions for numerous applications.
3M™ OCA PRODUCT LINE
Optically clear adhesives (OCA) are specialty adhesive films that offer very high transparency and are designed to bond two transparent surfaces (such as glass, plastic, or a display) without affecting light transmission.
OCAs are extremely versatile and offer excellent performance on liquid crystal displays (LCDs) and OLED screens for a wide range of applications, such as :
- the assembly of touch panels and foldable LCD/OLED screens (smartphones, tablets, displays), bonding protective glass to LCD screens for digital instrument clusters,
- attaching lenses or protective covers for cameras and ADAS sensors in the automotive industry,
- bonding optical sensors to glass,
- attaching protective films to transparent surfaces, and integrating HUDs (Head-Up Displays) into vehicles.
3M™ SCOTCH-WELD™ STRUCTURAL ADHESIVE LINE
3M™ Scotch-Weld™ structural adhesives are specifically designed to form a strong, permanent bond between two surfaces. These two-component industrial adhesives enable the creation of innovative designs and high-performance multi-material assemblies, such as those involving metal, plastic, and other materials.
3M™ DUAL LOCK™ LINE
The 3M™ Dual Lock™ removable fastening system is an innovative solution developed by 3M™ to provide a fastening solution that is strong, durable, and easily repositionable.
Unlike traditional fasteners such as Velcro or permanent adhesives, Dual Lock™ relies on a system of interlocking mushrooms (mushroom-head stud technology) that snap firmly together to form a strong, durable bond.
This technology ensures a clean, quick, and tool-free fastening solution, ideal for industrial applications, the automotive sector, electronics, signage, interior design, and point-of-sale (POS) advertising.
